Hello! I am so ….

Hello! I am so happy to have moved in at last and I’m very grateful for the time and generosity invested by the churches and the Diocese in refurbishing the Vicarage for my arrival.   It is a truly lovely home and I feel so blessed by this warm welcome.

Having spent the last 10 days unpacking and dealing with the mini-mountain of admin involved in re-entering life in the UK, I will be taking a holiday and then a short retreat on Lindisfarne. I am very much looking forward to meeting you all on my return, and to the formal inauguration of our partnership at the Licensing service on Wed 20 September.

As I was praying for us this morning I was struck by the words of Psalm 40:5 – ‘Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us’. I am excited to discover what the Lord has planned for us in the season ahead!

Until we meet, with love and prayers,

Alyson has boundless energy and when in Paris I always made my way to St Michael’s. Our loss in Paris is your gain in Mitford.

Good that you have found the true North of England.

Good luck with your new flock. I am sure the church will soon be buzzing.
