Our theme for Lent 2021 is DWELL RICHLY. Our prayer for the church family is that we will not only immerse ourselves in scripture but also see more of the big picture of the Bible’s storyline. With 66 books, written over a period of nearly 2000 years by 40 authors in different styles and genres; it is not always obvious how the Bible fits together. How can we begin to understand it as a whole?
Three opportunities are offered at Mitford and Hebron this Lent.
- The Bible Course. The Bible Course consists of 8 interactive sessions with video content and time for discussion and personal reflection. The course will start in the week of 15 February, hosted on Zoom, running for around 75 minutes, and free of charge! To join in or for more information contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
- Daily Reading Plan. This takes us through the whole Bible storyline in 42 days, from Genesis to Revelation. Download the plan HERE
- Sunday teaching series. From 14 February, the talks in our Sunday services will complement and support both The Bible Course and the Daily Reading Plan – with teaching on a scripture being read or studied in that particular week. Link with our online services HERE
