Mission Action Planning is a tried and tested way of putting flesh on to what we say of ourselves as a Church and Parish, exploring our strengths and the challenges that face us, and putting together a realistic plan that truly reflects God’s direction for our parish.
Our Mission Action Plan [MAP] seeks to outline the development of mission and ministry of our church over the next 3-5 years. It is based on continuing our existing mission as well as developing key priorities and initiatives in each area of our church life.
The MAP also reminds us who has been accepted responsibility for each initiative; anticipate timescales, resources, dependent actions and review body.
Our MAP is intended as a “work-in-progress” document and will grow and change as our ministry develops. We expect it to be regularly reviewed by the PCC as a fixed agenda item and hope we can find a way to keep the congregations involved and informed as to how we are progressing
